Rated 5 out of 5 by from Eclipse RCX = Compact Powerhouse The TenPoint Eclipse RCX doesn't leave much to the imagination. The fit, feel and functionality of this crossbow is readily apparent the first time you handle it. Its built in ergonomics make this fast and extremely compact crossbow a joy to shoot and hunt with. It's everything you need (and want) in a crossbow right out of the box; exceptionally well balanced, light, narrow, easy to cock and extremely accurate. It's also very quiet at only 91.9 decibels (outstanding) and sports a trigger pull of just over 3 lbs-which is on par with the best triggers in the industry. This is the perfect crossbow package for anyone wanting to keep it simple. No need to upgrade optics, arrows, cocking devices or add sound dampening kits. Simply attach the riser to the barrel and you can confidently hunt any animal in the world with this crossbow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Phenomenal bow! This bow is balanced, light, narrow and extremely accurate. The bow is very easy to load using the ACUdraw50. Incredible speed for only a 140 LB draw wt. The reverse cam orientation technology allows for a very efficient bow that requires less stored energy for the same speed, hence less noise. This bow also features other noise dampening technologies to make it relatively quite. I absolutely love the Pro-View 2 scope it comes with. After a lot of careful product research I upgraded to the Eclipse RCX and am totally satisfied!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of the most consistent bows I've owned! I've owned numerous crossbows and there was always something I didn't like about each of them. The Eclipse is the first bow I took out of the box and been extremely pleased with. This bow offers great speed and with a minimal 140lbs of cocking effort. The Accu Draw 50 is the icing on the cake. I mounted a red dot on mine and zeroed it in at 30yds. The Eclipse will be a perfect hunting weapon! I have shot different arrow combos through it and the bow is not arrow finicky at all. Don't shot arrows at the same dot because you won't have an arrows left!!! The Eclipse is very quiet and has a really nice trigger. Buy this bow with confidence because it will go down as one of Ten Point's best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Eclipse RCX Decided to purchase the Eclipse after owning the Turbo xlt2 for 3 years. The main drawback with the Turbo was that is was front heavy though accurate and reliable the Eclipse caught my eye. The Eclipse has cured the weight problem by shortening the stock and lightening the front end. After combining all of this with the rcx technology and the accudraw 50 i believe it will be a devastating package on whitetails while being easier to handle in a tight treestand. Finally with the increase in speed and kinetic energy with a draw weight of only 140# leads to a faster quieter system. Only adjustment that needed to be made was a washer to shim the front of the scope rail which I had at first incorrectly placed to the rear. The shim only being necessary due to the bow having a slightly hotter set of limbs. The Eclipse has been driving nails out to 50 yards which is as far ive had the chance to test it out. Great Bow!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid piece of equipment and faithful. Easy to use and very accurate. Got just before deer season last year after I had injured my shoulder and was able to use it straight out of box. Killed a nice buck first time out with it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great bow Accurate and easy to use. It keeps me in the deer woods as I get older and can no longer draw a conventional bow.

Just ordered the eclipse rcx. Saw on crossbow nation a guy saying his cams were cocking sideways. Now worried maybe should have got stealth fx4. Have excal. 380 with 4th set of limbs. Tired of that when I should be hunting! Thanks

I just purchased the eclipse rcx. I don't see the string and cable specs in the owners manual. Is there an amendment or additional info available. Thanks

Asked by: Ammodude
The Eclipse info is on the same line as the Carbon Phantom string and cable information. Page 20 & 21 about 3/4 of the way down the list.

What assembly is required?

Asked by: Ammodude
You have to attach the bow assembly to the stock and barrel, which takes about 2 minutes and you have to install the quiver, which takes about 5 minutes. Allen wrenches are included. You will need a Phillips head screw driver and a crescent wrench or pliars as well. I'm needing a crossbow for deer season; when are you going to run a sale?

Asked by: Richard56
TenPoint does not ever run sales directly, as we do not want to compete with our dealer base. There are some good prices on the 2016 models, so check with your local dealer or on the web for those.

Between the lighter & faster Pro Lite Arrow and the heavier Pro Elite Arrow, which do you recommend using with the Eclipse RCX for whitetail deer? Also, what expandable broadheads do you recommend for that set up?

Asked by: Mike D
The Pro Elites are a better hunting arrow hands down. For the broadheads, I would suggest the Slingblade or the crossbow version of the Spitfire. Both have tested very well for us.
