Is it necessary to change out the nock receiver on the Alpha nock Evo X Center Punch arrows I just got with my XRT, or can I just remove the Alpha nock, insert the lite and replace with the Alpha Brite nock?

Asked by: tbcxbow
You do not need to remove the receiver. The steps you have described for converting the nock over to a lighted version are correct. Remove the original nock, slide the light stick into the Alpha-Brite nock, then insert the combination nock and light stick into the receiver. Here is an informational video about the Alpha-Brite lighted nock system that shows the process: https://www.tenpointcrossbows.com/videos/arrows/alpha-nock-and-alpha-brite-lighted-nock-system-overview-and-lighted-nock-conversion-2318/

I have a TenPoint Nitro X. With the Omni nocks. Well I only need to get the polymer alpha Nock and the light to complete the conversion

Asked by: Lou_logic
Yes - as long as the arrows you are shooting have the removable nock system.

Just bought the Nitro XRT package with alpha nock and arrows. If I wanted to go to lighted system what would I need to get.

Asked by: CNeub
You can either purchase light sticks and plastic nocks separately to convert them or you can purchase the arrows with the lighted nocks pre-installed. You can now use either the Omni-Nock or the Alpha-Nock in your Invader G3.

Is it worth the upgrade to alpha knocks with an invader g3? Will just the alpha knocks be available and will the work with omni brite LEDs and knock receiver?

Asked by: Bah0482
You should be able to shoot accurately using either type of nock, so converting over to the Alpha-Nock is not necessary at this time. The polymer Alpha-Nocks are available in six-packs for $5.99 and are part# HEA-352.6G. The polymer Alpha-Nocks will work with the Omni-Brite light sticks and the receiver, as long as you have the Omni-Brite 2.0 style receiver.

I have the aluminum alpha nocks, and I have some battery/bulb inserts left over from when I used omnibright nocks. Can I just buy some of the new clear polymer nocks? And whats the weight difference b/t aluminum and clear polymer?

Asked by: statgeek
Yes you should only need to purchase the polymer nocks to convert your arrows to the lighted system. The existing light sticks that you have will work with the new polymer nocks and the receiver that has already been mounted in the arrow will also work. Here is a weight break-down: Aluminum Alpha-Nock: 32 grains Polymer Alpha-Nock: 16 grains Light Stick: 6 grains If you substitute the polymer nock with light stick for the aluminum nock, the polymer nock/light stick combination is 10 grains lighter than just the aluminum Alpha-Nock itself.

What arrows do I use with a titan ss ?

Asked by: Bigdog75
You can use any of the arrows that TenPoint makes with the exception being the 18" Wicked Ridge Ranger Carbon Arrows. The Pro Elite Carbon arrows, the XX75 Aluminum arrows, and the EVO-X CenterPunch arrows are all fine choices for hunting.
