Description

A Time-Tested, Premiere Cocking Device

The patented ACUdraw is one of the most user-friendly and practical solution available on the market today for cocking a crossbow effortlessly and accurately. Fully integrated into the stock, with no dangling parts, it requires only the strength of the average person’s index finger to operate. The ACUdraw allows hunters of all ages and physical abilities to enjoy the great experience of bowhunting. Now includes adapter plates to fit any Wicked Ridge model.

  • Reduces draw weight to about 5-pounds when operated manually
  • Lightweight and has no bulky clamp-on assemblies or hang-on accessories
  • Draws the bow accurately every time
  • Available as an accessory or pre-installed
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Would'nt be hunting without it. I'm an old geezer with a bad shoulder and wouldn't be able to cock a crossbow without the ACUdraw. That means I wouldn't be hunting during archery season. The ACUdraw works great providing a consistent draw every time with minimal effort. As I see it, there are two minor problems. The first is that I purchased the Sound Dampening System (SDS) to further quiet my already quiet Turbo GT but the ACUdraw makes a loud clicking sound when cocking the bow. I'm certain that any critter within a hundred yards or so will hear it. Secondly, the short limbs of the bow create a very acute angle with the string at the trigger assembly making it somewhat difficult to disengage the claw from the string after cocking the bow. This will be even more difficult during the winter with heavy gloves on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only crossbow I'll ever own. There is no way I could cock my crossbow. I just don't have the arm strength. Thank you so much for making a tool that is easy to operate, simple to return to it's storage spot, and has several safety precautions in place. I will not ever own another crossbow, she has never let me down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes cocking my bow a breeze! After over two decades out of hunting I contacted one of my younger brothers who had always maintained his woods presence to find out what brand of crossbow I should consider. (When I hunted as a young man I was a full recurve enthusiast.) Without hesitation he offered his TenPoint Crossbow for me to use. My concern about crossbows (since I had no real experience) was cocking them, especially while in a stand. Imagine my surprise and delight when my brother demonstrated the ACUdraw Cocking Mechanism! In his words (which I definitely DON'T agree with!), even an older guy such as myself could be sure of a proper draw without hurting myself. Hmmm. Thanks, Bro. That said, when time came to return his bow and purchase my own, TenPoint is the only brand I looked at, and the main requirement was that it must have the ACUdraw Cocking Mechanism onboard. I couldn't be happier. Thanks TPCT!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from ACUdraw Cocking Mechanism This mechanism works very well; except, the cords eventually get mis-aligned and will not seat back in their cradle evenly. Then they rattle when you move. I tried removing the covers and rewinding but it still happened again. Finally, I pulled about 2 inches of cord thru the handles and tied a knot in the string. The cords were shorter, but they seated properly and were tight and did not rattle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ACUdraw keeps an old hunter in the field Have a Early model Titan crossbow with ACUdraw for easy cocking. After shoulder, elbow and neck surgeries I had to give up my recurve and compound bows. The 10 point crossbow with ACUdraw allowed me to continue archery hunting. I have enjoyed the switch and plan to continue to hunt into my 80' s. Might have to get one of the new lighter weight model in a year or two. Thanks 10 point!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I really like the ACUdraw cocking system that came on my Tenpoint Stealth crossbow! It worked as described and was very easy to use after shooting the crossbow just a few times! I have bad shoulders and arthritis and this lets me continue to hunt with archery products!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from ACUdraw I have had my ACUdraw for several years now and have replaced the internals 3 times. The concept is great but I have had ongoing issues with mine since new. The biggest issue is getting it to retract once the string is cocked. The replacement parts aren't cheap to begin with, so after 3 times trying I've given up on having it work reliably for longer periods of time. If I had to do it over again I would get the regular cocking device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Technology I can no longer draw a bow due to a medical condition, but with the ACUdraw Cocking Mechanism on my TenPoint Titan Extreme crossbow, I am still able to hunt with a archery license. Adds little weight, easy to use, cocks accurately, quick with some practice, and safe.

I just bought my wife the Titan M1 and she cannot cock the crossbow so I am going to buy her the AcuDraw, will it fit on the Titan M1, I saw another questioned answered where a mounting plate was needed, but that was from a different model crossbow.

Asked by: BigRED72
Yes - the ACUdraw will mount to the Titan M1 crossbow. It will already have the mounting plate needed for installation on the crossbow pre-installed on the ACUdraw unit. Here is a video that shows the installation procedure: https://www.tenpointcrossbows.com/videos/acudraw/acudraw-unit-installation-tenpoint-quickinstall-stock-2295/

Will the acudraw and the acudraw pro work on a pse fang crossbow

Asked by: Jdrancher
Most likely these cocking mechanisms will not work on the PSE Fang. The ACUdraw and ACUdraw PRO were designed specifically to fit TenPoint, Horton Crossbow Innovations, and Wicked Ridge crossbows. Differences between the designs of these crossbows and the PSE Fang will likely not allow the mechanism to work properly.

after firing how do you get the draw mechanism back down to cock again.

Asked by: reddy
You should find this video helpful: https://www.tenpointcrossbows.com/videos/general-owners-instructional-videos/using-the-tenpoint-acudraw-pro-and-acutorq-2200/ Note: The pawl lever is shaped differently on the ACUdraw, but the ACUdraw and ACUdraw PRO mechanisms function similarly.
