When mounted to my crossbow’s rail, my Garmin XERO X1i scope appears canted. What can I do?
Unfortunately, not all manufacture mounting rails are built to exact Picatinny specs. If your X1i scope appears canted on your rail, you are getting interference on the rail grabbers that doesn’t allow the X1i to seat properly.
To resolve:
- Try replacing the Picatinny rail on your bow with a new one built to design specs.
- Try adding shims on top of the existing rail to give the X1i more clearance to grab the rail.
- Utilize the 2nd Axis Calibration feature in the Pro Settings menu to adjust your aim point stack. The scope will walk you through the procedure.
