What is the battery life and weather rating of the Garmin XERO X1i scope?

On two AAA Lithium batteries, the X1i can perform 1200 cycles, which includes taking a range and illuminating the display for 20 seconds. When the display is OFF, but the device is in standby mode, it draws very little power and will automatically shut down after 12 hours. The X1i is rated for -20 to 60 C temperature conditions, and has a water rating of IPX7, meaning it can be submerged in a meter of water for 30 minutes. Rain is not a problem.
