Description

This 8.25-inch aluminum scope features a variable speed and arrow drop-compensation setting for crossbows that shoot between 275 and 425 FPS, and requires no adjustment for distance. Three duplex crosshairs and five dots calibrated for 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 yards (fourth and fifth dots are free standing, just below the 40-yard crosshair) are available with a non-illuminated black dot or one of two rheostatcontrolled, illuminated colored dots (red or green). An etched glass reticle and fully multi-coated 1.5 to 5x optics reduce the loss of light transmission, while a 30mm tube heightens light-gathering and durability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For any situation The best crossbow scope I ever seen. It have all the best scopes features: contrast lines, red or green dots, multi line specific for crossbows, and vertical and horizontal adjusts can be easily done in field. But that "arrow velocity adjust" is something incredible that makes it perfect for any crossbow. For distances between 20 and 60 yards, there is no better scope for crossbow.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great scope, could use some upgrade to faster bows I really like this scope, the red and green dot are nice. As bows get faster and shoot further, an additional line or two might be helpfull for 60, 70 yards shoots. Overall, great scope.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dont let the deer see the red & green light ! I hit the target every time great scope But ! It cost me a deer one day using the red dot, I noticed the deer wouldn't take his eyes off me and (there were two of them together) they later left. When I got home I lit up the scope and got back to see if the deer could see the red light WOW! the whole front of the scope lights up so I find the illumination is junk, but the scope is great just don't use the illumination part.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rangemaster Pro Scope Extremely clear optics and easy to sight in. Illumination will flood out the optics in dusky conditions (prime deer time) making it difficult to see the markings and the target on the optics. Knob to adjust the scope is very difficult to turn. Will be sending this back for replacement.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Scope works very well in all conditions, wish it had come with lens protectors like my last one. I do have a problem leaving the lighted pins on after releasing the crossbow but I always carry an extra battery with me. Batteries seem to last a long time .

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great design concept/ poor field performance I would give this scope a 5-star rating on the shooting range. I love all it's features, but in the field where it counts, it 2-star. The exterior side of the eyepiece, condensed moisture to the point of wiping it every 5 minutes or less while in my blind. Since we all hunt, you know what movement can do to your hunt in big buck country. I would have preferred to pay $60 more for an anti fog coated eye piece. In the Northeast, with the wide range of weather swings, this scope couldn't handle it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from RangeMaster Pro scope scope is ok like the green illumination holds zero well glass is ok not as sharp and clear as I expected overall it is a ok scope.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clear optics I set this scope up on my Shadow Ultra Light two years ago and have never had to change it sense. The scope is very easy to set up and I was good out to 60 yards in fewer than 10 arrows. The red and green dots are a great feature depending on the lighting of where you are hunting that day.

Can I order a Horton Storm with a Rangemaster Scope? Or am I going to have to spend $300 extra for just the scope? According to your web site the Rangemaster is $100 more than the 3X Proview.

Asked by: pshooter
The Storm does not come from the factory with a Rangemaster scope. You can check with your local independent dealer to see if they will do a switch for you at the store level.

Bass Pro Shop has a package for the STEALTH FX4 with the Pro-View scope. Rep at Harrisburg Outdoor Show recommended Range Master scope for extra $100. However, Bass Pro Shop cannot substitute Range Master scope. Can you make substitution happen?

Asked by: Woody101
You will need to contact an independent dealer for something like that. Macrotech in Baltimore is a good option.

Can you tell me what size butler creek covers fit this scope?

For the best fit, you will want to take your bow or scope into your local dealer to make sure you get the correct size.

I want to buy one but I see 2 different product descriptions advertised. How do I know which one I'll get? 1. 275-365 fps with 3 crosshairs and 4 dots for 20,30,40 and 50 yards. 2. 275-425 fps with 3 crosshairs and 5 dots for 20,30,40,50 and 60 yards.

Asked by: wags
The descriptions are the old version and the new version. The current scope is the 275-425 fps. https://www.tenpointcrossbows.com/shop/RangeMaster-Pro-Scope--P32.aspx If you are buying it from a secondary source, you would need to look through it to make sure which you would be getting. If it has 2 dots below the crosshairs, it is the newer version.

Is this a non magnified scope? Can I mount it on an Excalibur matrix?

Asked by: Otis
This is a variable power (1.5 to 5X) scope. The magnification depends on the speed of the arrow shot out of the crossbow. As long as the arrow speed is between 275 and 425 fps, you should be able to use it on your crossbow. Be sure to contact your crossbow's manufacturer to determine if there are any issues with using this scope.

how do you adjust the magnification.

Asked by: Mike00
The magnification is the speed ring. Once you are sighted in, you do not change the magnification.
