Description

This 8.25-inch aluminum scope features a variable speed and arrow drop-compensation setting for crossbows that shoot between 275 and 425 FPS, and requires no adjustment for distance. Three duplex crosshairs and five dots calibrated for 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 yards (fourth and fifth dots are free standing, just below the 40-yard crosshair) are available with a non-illuminated black dot or one of two rheostatcontrolled, illuminated colored dots (red or green). An etched glass reticle and fully multi-coated 1.5 to 5x optics reduce the loss of light transmission, while a 30mm tube heightens light-gathering and durability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For any situation The best crossbow scope I ever seen. It have all the best scopes features: contrast lines, red or green dots, multi line specific for crossbows, and vertical and horizontal adjusts can be easily done in field. But that "arrow velocity adjust" is something incredible that makes it perfect for any crossbow. For distances between 20 and 60 yards, there is no better scope for crossbow.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dont let the deer see the red & green light ! I hit the target every time great scope But ! It cost me a deer one day using the red dot, I noticed the deer wouldn't take his eyes off me and (there were two of them together) they later left. When I got home I lit up the scope and got back to see if the deer could see the red light WOW! the whole front of the scope lights up so I find the illumination is junk, but the scope is great just don't use the illumination part.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great design concept/ poor field performance I would give this scope a 5-star rating on the shooting range. I love all it's features, but in the field where it counts, it 2-star. The exterior side of the eyepiece, condensed moisture to the point of wiping it every 5 minutes or less while in my blind. Since we all hunt, you know what movement can do to your hunt in big buck country. I would have preferred to pay $60 more for an anti fog coated eye piece. In the Northeast, with the wide range of weather swings, this scope couldn't handle it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rangemaster Pro Scope Extremely clear optics and easy to sight in. Illumination will flood out the optics in dusky conditions (prime deer time) making it difficult to see the markings and the target on the optics. Knob to adjust the scope is very difficult to turn. Will be sending this back for replacement.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Scope works very well in all conditions, wish it had come with lens protectors like my last one. I do have a problem leaving the lighted pins on after releasing the crossbow but I always carry an extra battery with me. Batteries seem to last a long time .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great scope, could use some upgrade to faster bows I really like this scope, the red and green dot are nice. As bows get faster and shoot further, an additional line or two might be helpfull for 60, 70 yards shoots. Overall, great scope.

Shooting a Vapor crossbow with a v22 arrow and a 100 g NAP spitfire bread head. How many inch drop would there be between 30 and 40 yards ?

Asked by: Dan B
There is probably 6 inches of drop from 30-40. If you sight your scope in for 20 with your top crosshair, adjust your speed ring so your 30 and 40 fall into place.

So I shoot my bow through a chronograph to get the exact speed and set the scope to that speed and there is only two ne dot on the scope that I would use?

Asked by: Stump jumper
With the RangeMaster, you will dial the top crosshair in at 20 yards and then back up to 30 and adjust the speed ring until you hit the bulls eye with the middle crosshair. The instructions cover this in detail. You can also click the link below for a video on the scope. https://www.tenpointcrossbows.com/videos/accessories/tenpoint-scopes-13/

The Range Master scope has a magnification of 1X to 5X , if you are hunting, are you moving the magnification to take a shot at the target particularly at longer ranges?

Asked by: nhdeerslayer123a
No, the scope is not used as a variable power scope, rather the magnification adjustment helps you sight the bow in for exactly the speed and arrow combination you are using. Once you are dialed in, you would not change the speed ring (magnification adjustment). The videos below may provide some clarification for you: https://www.tenpointcrossbows.com/videos/accessories/tenpoint-scopes-13/ https://www.tenpointcrossbows.com/videos/owners-instructional-videos/sighting-in-your-crossbow-24/

On the range master scope what is the strategy for using the vertical markers between say the 20 and 30 yard circles and horizontal lines to shoot at say 26 yard?

Asked by: nhdeerslayer123a
The crosshairs on the Rangemaster are designed for 20, 30 and 40 yards. If you had a 26 yard shot, you would just put your target evenly between the top and middle crosshair.
