Description

This 8.25-inch aluminum scope features a variable speed and arrow drop-compensation setting for crossbows that shoot between 275 and 425 FPS, and requires no adjustment for distance. Three duplex crosshairs and five dots calibrated for 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 yards (fourth and fifth dots are free standing, just below the 40-yard crosshair) are available with a non-illuminated black dot or one of two rheostatcontrolled, illuminated colored dots (red or green). An etched glass reticle and fully multi-coated 1.5 to 5x optics reduce the loss of light transmission, while a 30mm tube heightens light-gathering and durability.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great design concept/ poor field performance I would give this scope a 5-star rating on the shooting range. I love all it's features, but in the field where it counts, it 2-star. The exterior side of the eyepiece, condensed moisture to the point of wiping it every 5 minutes or less while in my blind. Since we all hunt, you know what movement can do to your hunt in big buck country. I would have preferred to pay $60 more for an anti fog coated eye piece. In the Northeast, with the wide range of weather swings, this scope couldn't handle it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For any situation The best crossbow scope I ever seen. It have all the best scopes features: contrast lines, red or green dots, multi line specific for crossbows, and vertical and horizontal adjusts can be easily done in field. But that "arrow velocity adjust" is something incredible that makes it perfect for any crossbow. For distances between 20 and 60 yards, there is no better scope for crossbow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Scope for Fast-shooting Crossbows This scope came with my Nitro X and made sighting in my new bow a breeze! Start with the speed setting dial set to your bow's advertised speed and zero at 20 yards using windage and elevation knobs. Then, fine tune at 40 yards using only the speed setting dial and you're good to go from 20 to 60 yards. The illuminated dots feature seems like it could be a good thing in low-light hunting conditions, and provides options for setting the light intensity and either red or green colors. One small knock - the illumination dial is a bit stiff to turn.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rangemaster Pro Scope Extremely clear optics and easy to sight in. Illumination will flood out the optics in dusky conditions (prime deer time) making it difficult to see the markings and the target on the optics. Knob to adjust the scope is very difficult to turn. Will be sending this back for replacement.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dont let the deer see the red & green light ! I hit the target every time great scope But ! It cost me a deer one day using the red dot, I noticed the deer wouldn't take his eyes off me and (there were two of them together) they later left. When I got home I lit up the scope and got back to see if the deer could see the red light WOW! the whole front of the scope lights up so I find the illumination is junk, but the scope is great just don't use the illumination part.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great scope, could use some upgrade to faster bows I really like this scope, the red and green dot are nice. As bows get faster and shoot further, an additional line or two might be helpfull for 60, 70 yards shoots. Overall, great scope.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this scope! This is the best scope for crossbows I have found. I love being able to dial in the speed to sight my crossbow in with different arrow/broadhead combinations. I use the red light for low light and the green for daytime visibility.

How do you adjust the focus on the scope? It it the ring near the front lens? It doesn’t seem to want to turn, and I don’t want to force it, if that isn’t the ring for adjusting the focus.

Asked by: Ebranger
The rear ring at the very back of the scope is the focus ring. If you can’t get it dialed in where you like it, you may need to move the scope in the rings for more eye relief. Check your manual or our videos section for more details.

How many yards can you get the RangeMaster scope dialed in for target shooting? I read there are 3 crosshairs and 5 dots? Can I shoot a target at 80 yards with this scope? Thanks

Asked by: Dukslayer26
The scope is configured for 20, EVO and 40 on the crosshairs and approx 50 & 60 on the dots. You can set the scope for 80, but it will not work out in 10 yard increments.

Trying to mount a Rangemaster scope on my crossbow that has a 3/8” dove tail rail.   What size scope rings do I need?

Asked by: Poppie
The Rangemaster is a 30mm tube, so you will need 30mm rings for a 3/8 or .22 rail.

I have a shadow ultralite I purchased in 2016. I just changed the scope battery for the first time. Now I'm only getting a green lite, no red lite, any ideas?

Asked by: Devoibew3
scratch the surface of the battery, top and bottom with some fine grit sandpaper. Also make sure the prongs on the cap are up slightly so you have good contact between the battery and the prongs.

So the variable power becomes fixed or set after you are sighted in to your crossbow speed, is that correct? Or can you zoom in or our at your target after you are sighted in?

Asked by: rickyroddy
It becomes a fixed site once you get your distances set.

Hi. How do you use the red and green lighted dots on the range finder scope. How do you turn on and turn off? And the dial is numbered from 1-5. Witch is the brightest?

Asked by: Buck master
You turn the dial one direction and you get red lights, the other is green. 1 is the dimmest, 5 is the brightest.
