Rated 5 out of 5 by from Starting with the best! New to archery hunting and couldn't use a compound bow due to a spinal injury. Set up the bow and within ten minutes was hitting bulls eyes out to fifty yards. Would have tried out to sixty but ran out of room! The elevation of the scope was perfect right out of the box but needed about 25 clicks to the left at twenty yards. Once dialed in the range dots of the scope were dead on. Can't wait to hunt this year! One of my arrows needed pliers to set the field tip all the way into the shoulder but then it was fine. I am so glad I made the decision to buy this crossbow. I researched for several months and decided to get the best right off the bat. Best decision I could have made!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightest, Fastest, Most Powerful Hands down the lightest, most compact crossbow I have ever used. Devastating power with 122 KE. Tremendous balance, the finest piece of hunting equipment I have ever used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best I've seen This is the best crossbow I have ever shot or seen. It is balanced, maneuverable in a treestand, and is FAST. The accuracy is also incredible. With this new scope you just set the speed and sight it in. I was hitting bullseyes at 50yrds. with fixed blade broadheads. With the accudraw you can shoot all day. I am also impressed with how quiet it is. Great bow overall. Price, you get what you pay for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great crossbow! I looked around at several different crossbows and manufacturers and, based on reviews of both the products and customer service, made the decision to purchase a TenPoint. I loved the balance of the Carbon Nitro RDX which really made my decision on which TenPoint to buy. I also really liked the reverse design with how the string is hidden inside of the limbs instead of being exposed on the outside like a typical crossbow design. The "danger" zone triangle area created by the strings/cables is reduced with this design and I felt more comfortable handling the crossbow with this configuration. It shoots great so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightest weight Ten Point, very accurate This bow is great, the trigger is just like a rifle. It is very balanced and overall light weight. Also very quiet, and accurate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spot on, I give it 10 points! Due to an injury I had to put down my bow and look for a crossbow. I did a lot of research and was told by many that 10 point compared to others was like comparing a Hyundai to a Mercedes. They were right! My Carbon Nitro RDX shot amazing right from the start. The optics were very clear and spot on. The all around feel of this crossbow makes it just another appendage. Friends have tried my bow and were amazed at the difference between it and the one they are shooting. One of them even asked to use mine after I harvested my buck. I give my 10 point a 10x10, great crossbow!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tack driver Bow was purchased due to a shoulder surgery best money I've spent on a huntin. Took. I've killed 3 deer with this bow. 1 at 50 yards 1 at 37 and 1 at 30. The two on the 30 range dropped in there tracks. The 50 I missed bone and went straight through. This bows knockdown power with grim reaper mechanicals is outrageous and awesome. Could not ask for a better well balanced bow. Awesome Machine

What turkey broad head worked best in your tests?  You seem to like NAP broad heads.  Does the NAP Gobbler Getter work on a cross bow bolt?

Asked by: New to Crossbows
The Gobble Getter is a great head and works well with most crossbows. However, it may open early with the speeds of the Nitro. I would contact NAP and see what they say about opening speed.

New to crossbows. Bought Carbon Nitro RDX due to reviews and my shooting comparisons with Horton Storm RDX. Wondering what the threaded holes are on the underside of the  string stop block/foot stirrup are used for. These are not the quiver mounts.

Asked by: Signaleer
Those lock the foot stirrup into the block.

Is the carbon nitro available with out the scope? And you need to update, Ultimate outdoors in Searcy is out of business.

Asked by: LeMoyne
The Carbon Nitro only comes as a package with the Rangemaster scope. I have made the change on Ultimate.

What is the advantage/disadvantage of the Deadsled

Asked by: JerryW
The Deddsled50 will reduce the draw weight by 50%. The Acudraw is a crank type cocker and reduces the needed force down to about 5lbs.

Can the bow weight be turned up and down ? I'm on the Market to purchase one. I'm disabled  And I'm curious I'm looking for a crossbow that will last me 10 years.I'm just looking for a good reverse. Purchase time a week. Y should I buy ten points?

Asked by: JR79
The draw weight can't be turned up or down. They are not made for that. TenPoint and Horton Crossbow Innovations bows, are made in the USA with quality parts and materials. They have good warranties to back them up and the personnel to get them fixed quickly if there is a problem. Our average turn around time on a repair this past year was less than 2 day.

Since the angle of the string is so much greater than a traditional bow does the string serving wear more quickly and have to be replaced more often?

Asked by: bonnsam
The string angle is certainly more harsh and can cause separation. If you follow the owners manual and DVD, you will get hundreds of shots from a set of string and cables. The woven carbon fiber barrel also adds to the string life because the surface is so smooth. Sting life is usually not quite as long as a normal forward facing crossbow.

How long do the cables and string last and would I have to get them changed at a dealer?

Asked by: Loki1066
How long they last depends on a variety of things, but you should get them changed out about every 3 years. This will insure they are in good shape and not stretched or dry rotted.

I have a 10 point nitro RDX.  Shot it 100+ times. However it is currently cocked and releasing the safety and pulling the trigger will not release the string. I need technical help.
