Never Over-Crank Your ACUdraw Again.

The ACUtorq handle employs a unique torque control mechanism that eliminates the possibility of over-cranking any ACUdraw unit once the crossbow is cocked, reducing the chance of damaging the unit. Rated 5 out of 5 by from ACUtorq works great !! I got my Stealth NXT about 4 months ago.. It came with the regular AcuDraw. I was looking in getting the AcuDraw Pro and decided might as well get it too, so it's on order...But it does not come with the new ACUtorq handle...Bummer, so I decided to get the new ACUtorq handle .I received it a month ago and with the weather being so warm never shot it till this week... It does what they it does , when cranking and claw gets close the safety clicks on, WOW !! Not at all like the old handle!..When it click ,your tight...The ACUtorq has a little play when it hits the safety and really works great.. I told friend of mine about the ACUtorq ,because he went thru draw cords and had replace the covers because of over cranking.. He tried mine and ordered one the next day..Great Product TenPoint !! Keep up the good work!!!

Stealth NXT with AcuDraw Pro Black handle crank. A former Gander Mtn. tech helped me and the crank wasn't strong enough to pull the string far enough back - like the "clutch" in the crank wasn't strong enough. Now what??

Asked by: Hunter 84
They can be easily adjusted. Watch the video below and you can follow the instructions to adjust the clutch. https://www.tenpointcrossbows.com/videos/cocking-devices/adjusting-the-tenpoint-acutorq-crank-handle-2207/

How do these handles actually prevent over torque? Recently purchased the Shadow NXT and the black cap crank. There was no "ratcheting" clutch type action and with minimal effort I could easily get at least another full turn of the crank

Asked by: Grumpus15
They will clutch out before you do major damage to the bow by overcocking.

I just upgraded from the Invader HP to the new Invader X4 withe Acudraw. If I understand correctly the Acutorq will prevent me from over cranking. Does this mean you can just crank the Acudraw until the clutch activates?

Asked by: pgm9966
You should still pay attention to where the string is and when the safety activates, but if you crank too far with the ACUTorq, it will decrease to possibilities of catastrophic issues from over cranking.

I can read on the handle that these have a warning about a strong magnet...I have a pacemaker...Can I get one without a magnet ???

Asked by: claytonridge bowhunter
All of the AcuTorqs will have a magnet. It should not be an issue if you store it in a leg pocket or backpack, instead of in the stock. This keeps it away from your chest and pacemaker.

In the description it shows the black handle works for both the pro and std acudraw. Is this correct, or a musorint?

Asked by: Doug58
Yes, the black handle works on the standard ACUdraw, but only on Stealth NXT and Shadow NXT models. Not all the other models. If you have an ACUdraw on any bows but the NXT bows, you need the red handle.

what is the difference between the black handle and red one

Asked by: navyvet
The Black handle is for the ACUdraw Pro, the red handle is for the older style ACUdraw. When you go to make a selection on the page, it gives details there.

Will the red torque handle work on old tenpoint crossbows like the original Titan, Nitro RDX, and Eclipse RCX?

Asked by: Kpbp2002
Yes, the red handled AcuTorq will work on the regular ACUdraw bows like the Tians.
