Description

Takes the Traditional Rope-Cocker to a New Level

For years many crossbow shooters have used the conventional but cumbersome rope-cocker to load their crossbows, reducing the draw weight by half.

TenPoint has taken this leveraged rope-cocking concept to an easy-to-use level. Integrated into the butt stock, the ACUdraw 50 ropes retract neatly inside the unit’s housing after cocking. No storing the rope, untangling it, or putting it away after use.

The contoured ACUdraw 50 covers fit the stock better and are less bulky. The lightweight covers also improve the alignment of the mechanism’s hooks and handles in the housing for improved security when not in use.

  • Draws the bow accurately every time
  • No more need to hang a rope around your neck or to stash it in your fanny pack
  • When not in use, powerful mini-magnets hold the handles securely and silently in place
    • (Each ACUdraw 50 handle is marked: WARNING: Contains a powerfulNeodymium magnet that may interfere with the safe operation of pacemakers or other medical implants.)
  • Available as an accessory or pre-installed
Rated 5 out of 5 by from never forget your cocking rope Had a new front end put on my Titan crossbow along with a new metal upper trigger mechanism and the acudraw 50. It's like a new crossbow. The acudraw 50 is a Godsend. I'm always forgetting something, so there is one less thing to forget now. It works great and actually helps balance the crossbow. Topped it off with a Nikon scope and this bow is now dead on out to 60 yds. I don't shoot beyond 40 yds. when hunting deer, but this rig is deadly. I've shot two deer since having the bow reworked and both went down within 40 yds.. The accuracy of this bow is great as long as I hold up my end. Thank you for making such a great crossbow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TenPoint Beliver As a crossbow hunter for over 40 years I have used Barnett and Horton crossbow exclusively. The last Horton I had was a Horton Hunter Model 175. For 10 years I used that bow to take numerous whitetail deer in Ohio. I believed that bow kept me at the top of my game. After shooting my friends TenPoint Venom I realized that there is a whole new level to crossbow hunting that I was missing. I went to TenPoint dealer and purchased my own Venom. This bow is so far ahead of anything Barnett has made or will ever make. I can shoot 2" groups at 60 yards with lightning fast speed. I can hardly wait for deer season to start. Whitetails in Ohio beware I'm coming for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth cocking system Used the ACUdraw all last fall deer hunting in Wisconsin a variety of weather. From rain to snow and 10 below, the drawing system is an asset. Had no trouble with it at all! It pulls the string evenly and smoothly; and it is self contained. I'm retired and bow hunt just about very day of the bow deer season. You will need to use a decocking arrow since the ACUdraw cannot be used to decock the xbow. I also like where the cranck handle stores in the stock. I also like the fact that TenPoint makes the bows from materials that do not transfer the cold to your hands. I rated the "ease of use" at a 4 only because you have to remember to follow the steps to arm the bow.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cocking Made Easy I have used the Acudraw device on my Wicked Ridge Invader cross bow for about 4 years now. It works great, is mostly easy to use, and quite effective. While I would rate it quite highly, there are two items that I believe detract from it's overall benefit. First, the retraction springs are too weak. Much like a GM seatbelt, slow retraction, and limp holding detract from the product. The other thing is the noise. The plastic housing material is very noisy, and the handles rattle. I found a very effective way to cure the rattling handle problem, but the noise of the plastic housing is beyond me. Not every one hunts in an open environment. In the brush, or tree limbs, the noise is a significant minus. Other than that, its just dandy, and overall, I really like it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great in concept, but noisy The idea is great, in that it keeps the cocking device at your fingertips, and you can't misplace it. It is quite noisy. As long as you cock before expect to see game, no problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Accudraw 50 is an excellently designed product I have just entered the crossbow experience and was introduced to the Tenpoint family of products I purchased a Titan Extreme and it was equipped with the Accudraw 50. After the salesman showed me how it worked I was very pleased on how it reduced the draw weight on the crossbow. I would recommend this to anyone thinking of getting a crossbow

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Cocking Device! I have the ACUdraw on my Turbo XLT and it is simply awesome. No fumbling around looking for your cocking ropes. No fear of getting out to the woods only to discover you left your cocking ropes at home. Let me tell you, the ACUdraw works like a champ, and is always there when you need it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Acudraw 50 is excellent ! The acudraw cocking device makes it fast and easy to cock my crossbow in my tree stand or blind . When I am done it is neatly put away and I know right where it is for the next time. The acudraw was one of the reasons why I picked my wicket ridge bow. I am very happy with my choice.

I purchased XLT crossbow with ACUDraw 50. What do I need to do to make the cranking more quite. You can hear the cranking when using it.

Asked by: Anonymous
If you have an Acudraw, you are supposed to hear the clicking. That indicates the pawl lever is engaged, which keeps the handle from free spinning backwards if you lost your grip on it. Typically people cock the bow at their vehicle or camp, so the clicking is a non factor from a hunting standpoint.

We recently purchased a Wicked Ridge by TenPoint Ranger Crossbow Package - Standard from Dick's Sporting Goods. Which ACU cocking device is compatible with this model? The ACU 50 or ACU Draw? Can this be installed at home or should be taken to the store?

Asked by: Tracy
Currently the only built in cocking mechanism for the Wicked Ridge bows is the Acudraw52. It can be installed at home or by the dealer.

Does this need to be assembled? Does the higher priced accudraw need assembling?

Asked by: Jaymes
If you are buying the units not on the bow, then there is some installation that needs to take place. It is not difficult, but will take 20 minutes or so to install. You will need a set of Allen wrenches and a Phillips head screw driver.
