| Tenpoint Community, I would like to share with you my 2012 spring turkey hunt video. I harvested a gobbler with my Tenpoint Titan HLX crossbow and was impressed with how quickly this bird piled up. I videotaped as much of the day’s events as I could. I heard birds before sunrise, but never did make a visual. They (3) stopped gobbling all together by 7:00 AM. I stayed put till 8:30 to no avail. The morning was an unexpected disappointment do to uncooperative obstinate birds. Mid-morning however, proved to be much more rewarding. At 9:00 AM I made the decision to set up amongst some hay bales overlooking a field where I typically observe birds passing through. In an hour’s time after frequent yelps and clucks on my friction call, I had a sole long beard sneak in without warning. Admittedly I wasn’t totally on task. I was day dreaming and thinking about tomorrow’s plans when I caught a glimpse of him. The hay bales did not exactly give me an optimal view, but did offer a field-of-view of approximately 20 feet wide if an opportunity presented itself. I placed the decoy some 20 yards out. The long beard closed the gap on my decoy quickly. Without hesitation, I found the 20 yard crosshair and dropped the hammer on him! I used Pro Elite Tenpoint Bolts with 100 grain Spit Fire mechanical broad heads. I also used an Easton Tracer nock, but is difficult to see in the video. My Contour HD point-of-view camera was affixed to my optics allowing me to video tape the shot. | Wayne and David,
Thanks for your kind words!! Unfortunately I had to remove my video from YouTube because the music I incorporated in it exceeded the allowable time granted for copyright purposes. I purchased the music from ITunes for .99 so I guess that means I do not have the liberty to use it in my productions. Therefore I need to edit my video and re-submit!! Sorry for the inconveinence!!!!

| Hunting comrades,
All I did was remove about 10 seconds of music from the video. It is my understanding that you are allowed 30 seconds of copy protected music. I am kind of new to this video stuff, but nonetheless, here is the link to my 2012 spring hunt. I apologize for any inconvenience!!

| So ………here we go again. Everybody’s a critic. My hunting “associates” claim watching my 10 minute video is comparable to watching paint dry. So I removed some of the “fluff” subsequently shortening it by 4 minutes. Here is a new link to my more “condensed” version of my spring gobbler hunt. This video making stuff is for the birds. Next time I will get Steven Spielberg to help me!
