| I just purchased a new Titan HLX and just completed assembly. I am concerned about the proper cable saver position. I placed the top cable in the deeper notch and the botton in the shallow notch. With the bow assembly sitting face up my cables cross on the left hand side. My assembly appears to mimic what is shown in the instruction manual. However after watching the assembly video, I am concerned because I the assembly that is shown does not look like mine on the Titan. I have seen several pics that show the cables crossing on the left side of the stock assembly. How can I make sure my set up is correct and if it isn't is it ok to take apart and reassemble? Thanks

| Hi Jerry,
I also own a Titan HLX. When ever I read a thread concerning a Titan I am compelled to investigate. As soon as I read your comments and looked at your pics I immediately visited my man-cave and inspected my crossbow. My cable saver assembly is identical to yours. I remember using Barb's instructional video to help with assembly. My bow is going on a year old and I whistled about a 100 bolts through it and harvested three whitetails with it this season. . . . . so I hope I have it on correctly!! Hope this helps.

Location: Mio, Michigan | I was wondering the same after putting my Defender together. I noticed that mine was crossed on the right side. Does it really make a difference, if so, why? I don't want to take it back apart if I don't have to. |

| Thanks for the response. Don with 3 deer down I won't question the setup! I'll be out shooting this weekend and ready for spring turkey. Thanks. |

Location: Mio, Michigan | My question was answered in the TenPoint section in xbow nation. As long as, the server clip is in the right grooves it doesn't matter which side the cross is on. I didn't think it would matter but you just never know. Better to ask a stupid question than have something stupid happen! |
