Sorry for the delayed response. Jake and I were off hunting for the past couple days.

I was wondering when this type of thread would surface. Later than I thought.
Yes, you will see some new stuff, but not until late December for pictures. I am excited by what we have but no where near finished yet.
Jake is not allowed to reveal anything until we get the OK from upstairs and then most likely I will be doing that.

Is it going to be in the form of new bows, arrows, or accessories?

I am planning to buy a TenPoint xbow in model (fill in the blank) as a Christmas present for my hunting buddy. Should I buy now or would I be better off to wait until after the new line up is out.

Al,
The new stuff will not be available until after the New Year, so if you are looking for an actual Christmas present, then you will need to by now.

Ricky,
Yes.

New stuff is great, however if it's not broken use it! The 09 models work great, and if it hits the bull's-eye every time, it does not matter if it's a 09 or 10 model! I love the accuracy of my Phantom-CLS w Package Pro40 Multi-Dot Scope ACUdraw 50 , it is a deadly weapon and gave me the confidence to use it on the big boys with great success this year, and gun season did not even begin! Never before have I bagged so many nice trophy bucks in bow season! Those guys (and gals) at Ten Point are doing one great job! Gator

Nae, I was just baiting you for some insight into what might be coming down the pike. Me thinks if you do not have a xbow in your hands by this time in the season we would be well served to wait to see what is coming down the pike.

I did that and ended up going from my first choice of a ProFusion which was selling for about $699 to a Phantom which retailed for $2000 - As my wife is fond of saying, "that sure worked out well"

Hi Al,

I see your point!

The ProFusion looks similar to the Phantom which I purchased

http://www.tenpointcrossbows.com/WhatsNew_tenpoint.asp

http://www.tenpointcrossbows.com/WhatsNew07_phantom.asp

And according to my calculations you save some bucks in the process!

So tell your wife; Gator said "that sure worked out well" for me also! lol

However, it did not save and "Bucks" because, them there 8 point "Bucks" I bagged this season will soon be a hanging on my wall... lol

Later

Speaking of "bucks" - unless you are doing your own taxidermy you have also just added to the overall price of your Phantom.

Men's toys get more expensive as we get older.

Hi Al,

I know, I know "Tenpoint Xbow" Arrows, Broad Heads, Feed, Gas, multiple Tree stands, Plot Field, Camo tree stand Blinds, ground blinds, guns, Camo Gear etc... and now taxidermy!

I also use the Cabela's Commercial Food Dehydrators IK-515819
Cabela's Commercial-Grade Electric Grinders IK-516401

and Cabela's CG-15 Vacuum Sealer IK-516707

to process all my Deer and game!

Yep it all adds up for great memories! lol

Hoping to get a multiple mount discount!!!

Oh and it doesn’t even come close to the costs of my fishing sport!!!
30ft boat, insurance, gear, fuel, bait, ice, tackle etc. etc…

Both excellent but miles apart on more than the price tag. I've opted for letting my wife kill the big ones and thus pay for the mount!

Randy,
I would like to say what I would like to see in the future. I use my Phantom for alot of different things, from 3D shooting, ground-hog to deer hunting, fishing, to long range target practice. I would like to see you guys offer a 4 or 5 line scope. I would also like a lighter bow for long 30 target 3D courses, and long ground hog hunting days. And while I'm wishing it might as well shoot at least 305+ fps, or more. Larry

So basically Larry what you want is a fast, lightweight, compact, smooth, quiet crossbow. Not to diminish hopes or anything but that is pretty tough to do, but maybe someday we will figure something out.

Jake, I have faith that if it can be done, you guys will be the ones to do it. Oh yea! and while your at it, you might as well try to make it sell for around a thousand or so, give or take. Might as well dream big, right? Larry
