Location: Mio, Michigan | Just an FYI for everyone. The other night I hunted in the rain for the first time with my GT Flex. I came home and wiped it all down and applied some lube to the trigger assembly, rail and such. The next night I go out to hunt (I have the accu-draw set up on mine). I cock the bow and right away I notice the bolt is not seated where it should be. I fart around with it for about an hour and finally after over cocking it, it works. All is fine, I thought. The next night the same thing, other than I can't get it to cock at all. Well, after a good amount of time I notice that the auotmatic safety knob is almost falling off, it had loosened up from shooting, I guess. Something as simple as a loose part had me at my wits end trying to figure out what the problem was. Bottom line check and double check tightness of parts. Hopefully, this won't happen to anyone else. Thought I would share the info. By the way I love my crossbow, Killed my first buck with it a couple of weeks ago. You can't go wrong with a tenpoint product. Jay |

| I recently purchased a TL-9 and am happy with it. It's a real nice bow. However, I also have noticed that the brass knobs on the safety come loose after only a few shots and have to retighten them also. I have not had the bow fail to cock but would like to know how to keep the knobs tight so they don't fall off. |

| If this is a typical issue, just clean the knob and shaft threads with alcohol and use a soft/removable 'Lock-Tite" (the permanent version may be too aggressive). This practice should be used on ALL screws/nuts/threaded pieces including the AcuDraw case screws/nuts, as vibration will loosen these parts.

| I would recommend trying some lock tite on the threads. This should keep the safety nobs from vibrating off when shooting. Good Luck |

| Jay,
Congratulations on your buck, that's great. As far as your safety nobs. I would recommend applying some lock tite to the threads. this should keep them from vibrating out. |
